Bronze Medal!!! :D

Yey!!! After 30 games, I did it!!! Finaly!! :D

Team Picks and Bans:

I had a good feeling about this game right from the start... Even though it begun in the weirdest of ways... You see, our Nocturne had the same skin as I have on Nocturne. And I thought I was playing Nocturne this game so I stared with my jungling build (aka Vampiric Scepter)... Of course, when the team told me what I have done, I replied with a "FML". Because I may have just costed my team the game. I didn't. Our team was too good and started from the beggining. Even though Ashe got the first blood on Sona, Cait managed to get the double kill right after and from there on, it was a one side show.

As we figured out at the end, our Nocturne was actually a 1500 elo player who DuoQ'ed with a much lower elo friend. The game went so in our favour that we may have lost 1 or 2 team fights but must have won more than 10. And the opponents just kept going, no surrendering. The game ended after 36 minutes with the destruction of their Nexus.

End game stats:

As usual, the Replay is here:

Game #30

+6 Elo Gained (because of Nocturne)

And this brought me over 1250, which granted me the Bronze medal for the Seasson 1 ladder!

At this point on, there is no reason to keep trying for Silver as the ladder will be reset for Seasson 2 in a couple of weeks. After that, I'll be back with more games as I'll try to climb up the ladder of Seasson 2 as well!! :) Until then, have fun and good luck!! :D

Another easy one

Pitty, this Brand was really good...

Team Picks and Bans:

Nidalee got an easy First Blood on Jax... And then kept going... She DOMINATED the top lane, taking down whoever went to stop her. The rest of the team just cleared out whatever was left on the rest of the map.

The game ended soon and easy with a 5/0 surrender vote at 23 minutes.

Purple Side

I'm preoccupied about that side of the map... Always brings me bad luck...

Team Picks and Bans:

It all kindda started with that Soraka ban... That's when we first realised these opponents where... odd... And After Rumble got that First Blood on Heimerdinger, it all went downstream like a tide. The game ended at 20 mins with a 3/0 surrender vote (Vayne dixconnected from the start) and a humiliating score of 22-1 (fiddle died once to creeps)

Blaim the jungler...

Of course, when the team fails, the jungler gets the blaim...

Team Picks and Bans:

We had a pretty tanky team... Sion, Udyr, Vladimir... After a while, this should have been easy, right?? Yeah, that's what I though too... Not really if people starts blaiming eachother while playing...

First things first... Another failed DuoQ. Udyr and Vlad where a duo and Vlad had to leave for the first 5 minutes of the game... So, yeah... 4v5 from scratch. Still I kept with my jungling and though Lee Sin did some nice counter jungling, it didn't affect me much. Even though Vlad got first blood, a failed attemt to gank by me gave the opponents the advantage... From then on, whetever I tried was in vain cause none of our team could keep up. It also showed when my team found Rumble on the river 1v4 and yet he managed to escape.

The funny part of the whole story is that our Sion wanted to report me for no "communicating with the team", since the team didn't follow anything I was saying. They only said "noob noct", "plz leave" and other funny comments. Don't know if he actually did but it will be a funny read for the people looking at my case at the Tribunal!

Anyway, their team had a tank, we had none, so there was nothing we could do... Game ended with a 4/1 surrender vote at 27 mins.

Funny fact: Our team had a total of 326 Wins and their team had 908 Wins... MatchMaker WIN!!

Down the right path

Well, the stream thing can wait... I can't get around that latency issue and I can't play at my full potencial with 250ms ping on the game... Until I get a better line, I'll only stream Normal games (not that anyone will be watching but, anyway).

Team Picks and Bans:

Our team seemed better than theirs. We had Amumu and Annie on our team (which are common bans for a reason) and also an awesome jungler (hehe, who might that be?? :P ). Annie got first blood on Orianna while me and amumu got the second kill on top lane. Unfortunately, Annie died too on Trundle who had taken posistion to gank.

The game went smoothly after that, getting and giving kills (an awesome teamfight happened at around 15 mins, you might want to check it out on the replay) and the rest of the game snowballed. The game ended at almost 29 minutes, with the destruction of the enemy nexus...

About the livestream, take 2

I have found what I was looking for, a streaming clined with not much fps drop... ProCaster from Livestream.com does an exelent job in giving a smooth 30-40 fps in game while casting. I still have an issue to solve though. Latency...

I know that the only way to tackle this is to offer a low quality stream. As I said, my line doesn't have the best upload speed so, it has to be low. The thing is that, the software uploads at only a slight less than my upload speed, meaning it takes up to 400-450 kbps out of my 550kbps. I tried to tell the software to stick around 300-350 so I don't get lots of latency lag inside League of Legends but it just doesn't listen to me...

It's the only issue I have right now, if I manage to tackle this too, I'll be read to stream anytime!! :)

Stay tuned for updates on this!

About the livestream

I know, I know... Not nearly as good as the other League of Legends streamers out there. But in order to stream, this is the only "setup" that works for me.

First of all, I DO have a pretty good PC but it's not nearly as good as to run Xsplit Broadcaster smoothly. The encoding takes a toll on my gaming performance, droping the fps to 15-20, and some times (when lots of things happen on screen) at below 10 fps. Which is unplayable.

X-Fire on the other hand, gives me a steady 25-30 fps which is not the best fps performance-wise, but it's smooth enough to actually play the game. I WILL try out a few more normal games before actually streaming ranked games, just to test if there arn't any unexpected "hic-ups" to ruin my game...

As for the quality, well... You can blaim our ISPs here... 1.5Mbps download/550 kbps upload isn't actualy a "high end" connection, but where I live, it's the maximum I can get. So, unless my ISP upgrades their DSLAM in my area, this is the best quality I can stream at without any problems. PLease, if you're watching my stream, leave a comment about the quality/fps of the video! :)

Anyway, I have no standard time for streaming, that's why I included the stream thumbnail at the right side of the blog. If you see that thingy play video, click on the link below for the larger window! :)

Counter jungling

I'm giving lessons here ppl!! Shuting down completely the enemy jungler is what I did this game! Check it out if you're also into counter jungling! :)

Team Picks and Bans:

That Gragas pick was kind of a troll pick... I mean, the rest of my team and I discussed our picks and descided who takes who... Everyone exept that guy who had the bright idea to instalock Gragas... Oh well... Since noone Queue Dodged, might as well just play the game. As usual, I took my place to steal enemy Wraiths... Alistar showed me their golem area and since they where all camped there, I thought I could steal more than just the blue wraith. I had already killed 2 of the 3 lesser wraiths when tristana appeared as I left, leaving the other behind. A quick cv at the area showed that Tristana got the last wraith... Great, assisting me in counter jungling!! :D

I got First Blood on the enemy Warwick in the funniest of ways. I had set up for a gank on Karthus who was mid, when I saw Warwick invading our jungle. Thinking he would try to steal my Lizard buff, I neared him from the bush and waited till he was about to finish off the Lizard and steal it with smite. Apparently, he only wanted to steal the two small lizards and he walked into the bush... Well, me and the Lizard ganged up on him and took him down!! :P

After that, it was a counter jungling fest... Wherever I went, I brought wards with me and deprived Warwick of his buffs whenever I could (also killed him whenever I could! :P ). Result?? An early fed Nocturne and a pretty pissed Warwick! The game ended at 40 minutes with the destruction of their Nexus, after obliterating all of their base...

Duo Queue

As I already said, an Orianna in the hands of a good player is something to be afraid of... And this one WAS good, I give him that...

Team Picks and Bans:

I had a hard time at mid... Any melee caster against a ranged caster would have troubles... At least, you have to be defensive with Kassadin until you get your Riftwalk... That's what I TRIED to do.. But that bitchy ball of Orianna really gave me a hard time. Thankfully, we got an early lead with Janna getting First Blood on enemy Soraka. Unfortunately, Xin ganked hard and got his team ahead again, and Orianna managed to kill me a little later. Unfortunately for her, I had just gotten my Riftwalk!

Not that I did anything to her... But I tried my hardest to keep her in lane and let our jungler work the other lanes to submission. And our duo queue bottom team did great!! They gave us the lead again, and kept it!! After that, it was a one side show... We won every teamfight and, even though Singed was a threat, he tried to focus me and fell to the traps my teammates had in store for him!

The game ended at the 32nd minute with a 3/0 surrender vote which passed because enemy Soraka had quit the game a bit earlier...

Easy game

Why can't all my games be like this one?? This was easier than fighting bots...

Team Picks and Bans:

We where full of AP, they where full of AD... Whoever did the better start would win... That was us, with Gragas getting the First Blood on Jax. They did try to catch us off guard with a lvl 1 jungle invasion but they didn't accomplish much... Of course, they had no descent champion for mid lane, so I dominated Pantheon with Kassadin... The rest is history. The game ended with a 5/0 surrender vote right at the 20th minute! (I feel ashamed that out of the 2 deaths my team had, one was mine... >.< )

Pro Noob

Yeah, this is a new term from me to all those "experienced" players who still don't know basics... Like our firend Xin Zhao here who apparently has 463 Wins on ranked games... Riiiiight...

Teams:

Blue Team: Kassadin (Me), Xin Zhao, Soraka, Malphite, Twisted Fate
Purple Team: Brand, Sona, Irelia, Miss Fortune, Rammus

I don't have screenshot because I was trying to convince Xin to take Smite for his jungling... He said "I jungle without it". And he failed at it... Soraka got the First Blood for this game but we couldn't keep it up. Twisted fate kept dying and giving the enemy free gold from his ulti teleports and Xin was... bad... He either was away from the teamfights or he dived 1v4 or 1v5... And against a fed Brand, no matter how good you are with a champion, you just can't get close enough... That's why I couldn't carry the game at all... Game ended at 24 mins with a 4/1 vote (of course, I'm always the one that wants to play till the end... But noooooooooo......)

When all else fails...

...Go tank!! This is mostly what happened this game... I couldn't get Kassadin for mid, our leader banned Nocturne so, what choice did I have?? Get a tank and show the world how Underpowered Shen is...!!! :P

Team picks and bans:

What people that pick Cho'Gath as tank don't seem to understand is how easily he can be ignored in a teamfight... Sure, he has a silence that would hurt many casters but, that's about it... His knockup isn't spammable and he can't force people to focus him. He's just intimidating from his size. Shen, on the other hand, is not nearly as neglectable. He dives in a fight, picks up the damage and bang... All you AD teammates hand down massive damage, since they ignore Cho's Silence... By the time my team figured that out, it was game over. Even though Master Yi got the First Blood, even though we lost many turrets early in the game, the ending was "predefined"... Game ended at 33 mins with the opponents surrendering after an ace in their base.

Finally!!

After a whole lot of crappy games, I got my first win today!! Let's see if this keeps up or it was just a fluke..

Teams:

Blue Team: Anivia, Tryndamere, Xin Zhao, Teemo, Ryze
Purple Team: Kassadin (Me), Rammus, Alistar, Irelia, Gangplank

I gave First blood to Xin pretty early after a nice gank but not without taking Ryze with me on the spawn counter. Seconds later, Irelia also died to Anivia top lane and did so again a while later, giving them an early advantage. Thankfully, the game snowballed towards us pretty easy, as they didn't have someone tanky to soak in damage and Xin didn't build tanky until very late in the game. At one point forward I had the impression that I was being focused, but it didn't really bother me since my team cleaned up the mess they created to kill me... The game ended easily at 36 minutes with the destruction of their Nexus.

Just not my day

I THOUGHT I could go for bronze... It's just impossible. Even if I try my best, there's no way I can carry games that people WANT to lose... Like the Pantheon in this one...

Team picks and bans:

I can't even begin to describe how bad this Pantheon was... Going 1/4/0 early game while blaiming and flaming us for the stupid actions he did! Even threw me off mid lane by saying "I'm mid now"... Seriously, a game breaking player... Even though Irelia got us a First Blood, the rest of the game went teribble. Me, Irelia and Gangplank did our best to save some hope for our team but that Panthen kept diving the enemies and dying instantly. Alistar also left the game for almost 15 minutes and we had no chance winning 4v5. And we could SO win this if Pantheon was not THAT stupid... Right at the end of the match, while ALL our tuurets and ALL our inhibitors were down, we managed to ace them TWICE, before they actually win with their third push...

Russians...

No, I'm no rasist. I don't think ALL Russians are bad players. But when a wild one appears, it's 99% Russian. This was the case also here...

Team picks:

Blue team: Garen, LeBlanc, Urgot, Master Yi, Nunu
Purple Team: Nocturne (Me), Kog'Maw, Shen, Nidalee, Malzahar

I didn't get a picks screenshot because I went over my head with this one... Someone would wonder why, since we seem to have a pretty descent team... Well... No. That retard kog'maw (yes, HE'S the Russian) DEMANDED to take mid, even though the four of us shouted that Malzahar should take mid, and he DEMANDED to go AP on Kog. The results where expected... Kog'Maw has a GREAT AP ratio on his skills but his ulti is such a hard skillshot that even a mediocre player can avoid it. And since it is hellova mana burner, our dear Kog spent most of his time in base...

The game didn't start well at all... We took our position at the bushes near the river, on our golem side, when a wild Nunu appeared. He saw us there but we didn't manage to get him down. Then the rest of his team came. As for me, I dived on the "apparent" target. Urgot. You see, Urgot was their carry... And he didn't have flash, only exhaust and ignite as summoner spells. So, at a lvl 1 fight, he would do the worst damage to our team, with his rather big, for a lvl 1 champion, damage and his summoner spells... Well, guess I'm the only one who notices these things as I was the ONLY one to dive him, I got focused by the enemy team giving First Blood and Urgot managed to walk away. This lvl 1 fight ended with a 1-3 score against us.

Shen also had a hard time top lane against Garen and I did as much as I could to help out. At least Malzahar and Nidalee where pretty awesome and made up for the lack of one player on our team (Kog). Even though Kog got a kill on LeBlanc, this LeBlanc wasn't the best of players to deserve some credit.

Anyway, malzahar, Nidalee and me did some great work on bot lane, both getting kills and counter jungling Nunu. We got 2 or 3 dragons but still couldn't get ahead. We where always 1 player short. Even when I tried split pushing bot while my team was fighting mid, I was thinking "It's ok, they're 4v5, they can at least keep them busy." They didn't... Cause Kog'Mao was really out of it! So, the opponents just focused down Malzahar and Nidalee, ignoring him altogether...

Their defence was simple and solid. Magic resistance for our 3 AP, ignoring Shen and focusing me whenever possible. They also got those bitchy Thornmails to make my life even harder. But I'm not the type of guy who doesn't give hell back... They tried to get Baron, I stole him and walked out alive, even got a few kills there and the game seemed to turn until... Yeah... Yi was on our base, having a party... From that point on, I was the only player that held our base together. AP champs and tanks can't defend against super minions as well as an AD champion. So, the enemies waited until they can gank me wherever possible, then dived our base and won the game after 44 minutes...

Feels good to be ranked! :)

After almost 11 months, I'm again able to see my name on the ranked ladderboard!!

Yey me!! :D I know 61k+ position isn't that appealing BUT! Concerning how many more people are below 1200 elo (who are a lot more than 100k, I'm sure of that) and the people above me that only just started playing ranked and many will probably fall under after a couple more games, I know this isn't my actual rank. But, I don't really care! I'm ranked again!! :D

Now, if only I can get another couple of wins and get that Bronze Medal as well... ^_^

Edit: I did some digging and found out that you need an elo af 1250 to get the Bronze... This is going to be a hard one, if I look back to the other times I managed to get this high and then plummeted 100 or so elo... Oh well... Baby steps!! :) One at a time and I'll get there eventually!!

Anyway.... Bed.... Calling.... Sleep.... ZzzzZZZZzzzzz

Goodnight all!! :D

YESH!!!! :D

Epic game is epic!! And when a game like this brings you over 1200 elo, it's even better!! Still no Bronze Medal though... Guess I'll have to try harder...

Team picks (sorry, was too exited about having a chance to go over 1200 that I forgot to take a screenie):

Blue team: Nocturne (me), Leona, Zilean, Ezrael, Irelia
Purple team: LeBlank, Warwick, Jarvan IV, Ashe, Soraka

The worst of the opponents was Soraka, hands down... If we didn't focus her, she healed her team... If we did focus her, her team wiped us out... Zilean managed to get the First Blood for our team but the game was not nearly one sided until very late in the game. Warwick did a great job counter jungling me (even pulled off my own "Wraith steal" - only that he stole ALL of my wraiths, not just one - ) so I tried, and succeded, on counter jungling him. LeBlank was, as always, the tremble and fear of everyone of us so we focused her down in every turn. Thankfully, Ashe was squishy enough to give our team some free gold and later, the underfarmed warwick, who didn't have any escape Summoner Spells, became our bread and butter.

The game was basicaly carried by Ezrael, with an outstanding score of 15/1/13, and Leona doing some pretty awesome damage for a tank, ending with a very good 9/4/20 score. The game ended after 42 minutes, after acing them inside their base and destroying their Nexus.

Nearing 1200

1200 is a magical number for League of Legends... It's where everything happens!! Every new player to ranked games starts with this number of points.. So, the more you reach it, the biggest the possibility to find unskilled players. This game started off kindda like that...

Team picks and bans:

Both teams seemed to have a pretty descent setup. They didn't have a support champion so I guess Nidalee taking CV was an advantage to our team... Until their last player chose a champion... Tryndamere... We had already 3 champions with ignite, so if at least 2 of them swapped it for Exhaust, we would shut him down completely late game and probably win all teamfights 4v5. But no... Noone swapped... Noone, exept one.. Nidalee!!

I was furious at the beggining... As a jungler I like having a CV on the team so I can jungle and counter jungle safer. And when Udyr got First blood on Cho'Gath at top lane (and killed him again a bit later), I pointed out how much more usefull the exhaust would be comparing to ignite... Things turned around though... I tried to jungle a bit faster and gank as fast and as hard as I could. Thankfully, after the initial 0-3 score against us, we started pushing forward. And after 15 minutes in game, we where snowballing to victory. The game ended after 32 minutes with the destruction of the enemy's nexus.

Jungle tweak

I changed a bit my jungling masteries, hopefully for the best, and I'd really like to try them out... You'll say "why not try them out on a normal game and do it on a ranked?" You're right about this but, it's not that big a deal... It's pretty much the same as what I used before, only that it will benefit my lategame more than before... So, it WILL be like using my older masteries setup, only now it will be better! :)

Team picks and bans:

Aaaaaaactualy, this game never started... Maokai said he only had ap runes, so 3 ap and one ad already, and with the Heimerdinger as last pick (4th AP champ), our Cho'Gath Queue Dodged... So, here we go again...

Team picks and bans:

In the beggining, the setup went for Taric and Tryndamere to go bottom and Ashe would be a tank (not tank WITH Ashe, just pick a tank champion instead of AD Carry - I know this is elo hell, but let's avoid confusions like this! :P - ). But then descided that a Trynd on top would be better as he can heal himself and the sooner he gets farmed and got his ulti, the better. Was a pretty good call, even though Rumble gave him a hard time. Tryndamere got a pretty lucky First Blood near the biggining of the game, on a stand-off with Rumble. The rest of the game went smoothly, my wards picking up people on the river and taking them down.

When Rumble and Galio begun to feel a bit more "tanky", we were kind of in a stalemate as we didn't have such coordinated initiations. Ashe's arrow or Orianna's ulti would be perfect initiations but we couldn't time them off. I descided to take initiative and dive in to their carries (Akali or cait) and deal out as much damage as possible until my team finish them off.. After a 1-4 trade and a soon to follow teamfight, the mid tower finaly droped and we steamrolled over their team. The surrender came with 4/1 votes at the 31 min mark.

Good Morning!

I tried to get the screenshot from champ select like I always do but apparently, no image was copyied on the clipboard so, again, sorry for no screenie...

Teams:
Blue Team: Kassadin (me), Trundle, Warwick, Jax, Alistar
Purple Team: Karthus, Kayle, Ashe, Mordekaiser, Rammus

Both junglers started off nicely. Rammus ganked me right before I got my Riftwalk, while at the bottom lane Trundle ganked Ashe and Kayle. Kills where gotten and given here and there but we slowly gained the advantage. After I got my Tear of Godess and boots, I started roaming for ganks as well... And after a big team fight at top lane, the opponents surrendered with a 4/1 vote at 23 minutes. Nice, fast, early morning game! :)

The carry v.2

Again I was on the phone during champ selection and didn't get a screenshot from champ select... :( Sorry...

Teams:
Blue Team: Nocturne (me), Alistar, Fiddlesticks, Taric, Gangplank
Purple Team: Kog'Maw, Akali, Udyr, Teemo, Garen

The game started with all kinds of stuff going wrong... After Gangplank got first blood on teemo, Kog killed both of them on bot lane. Then Gangplank Disconnected and a few minutes later, Taric also went afk. The rest of us where trying desperatly to defend their split pushes and ganks, but actually tried to squeze off a couple of kills. But we all knew that if this kept on, the game was lost for us...

Thankfully, Taric came back and did some wonderfull supporting. We already had them scared of us while only 4. And when Gangplank also came back, it was game over for them. Even though they didn't realise it yet, since they got some pretty descent farm while we where outnumbered, after the game returned to 5v5, the game turned awfully towards our side. It ended after almost 50 minutes with the distruction of their Nexus.

I could safely say that me and Fiddlesticks carried this game out of that 3v5 situation. But our team as a whole was good, not just the two of us... End game stats where:

The carry

I'm scared of Singed... There, I said it!! I don't know why, it's just that when he is near, I get intantly feard!!

Team picks and bans:

Other than Singed, the teams where pretty ballanced. In-game, though, it's never as you think it would be... Lucky for us, THEY where bad!! I took mid vs Akali (probably and Ashe mid would be a better pick with their team setup but, that's what they chose...). At first I though she was descent but after a lot of Q spams, I was wondering if she knew that this wasn't hurting too much... Either way, she DID get first blood on me while I baited her for Jarvan to gank her. In case you wonder how I got the kill from the tower and not Jarvan, I'll just point to my ignite! :P

After that, I steamrolled. Akali thought she could take me 1v1... Didn't work out for her AT ALL... I left my lane and started roaming, getting kills here and there. I ended up carrying my team to victory, with a score of 14/5/12 (Vayne did a great score too, 12/6/15, but she got most of her kills at late game, after we had probably won already...)

I said it already... When I see an Orianna player in these low elo games, I pretty much expect them to fail... This wasn't an exxeption...

Team Picks and Bans:

I also knew right from the start that our Warwick was, if not a bad player, at least new to ranked or compatitive playing. First off, he didn't say anything about his pick so he just instalocked him... He did get First blood but the game exploded downwards after that... Seems like our Orianna was a 2.5k elo player and was bitching about EVERYTHING... Oh well, any descent players could win against our team...

Back to solo Q

I don't know why but lately, I only fail my Duo Q's so I just went in solo Q again...

Team picks and bans:

(hurrey for the return of the screenshot!! ^_^ )

We had a tanky team, they didn't... All we had to do is make a good start and snowball from there... I kinda failed my jungle by giving the twin golems the unnoficial First blood but it didn't matter much. Brand got the actual first brood a bit later after a quick bottom gank. I pulled out my golem buff stealing sceme in which I failed misserably a few games back but now it worked like a charm! The game ended at 23 mins with the enemy team surrendering after me and poppy engaged on a 2v4 and getting all four of them.

Duo Queue

After this streak of queue dodges, me and a friend of mine finaly got a game... Team picks

Blue team: Shen (me), Ezrael, Lee Sin, Kennen, Nocturne
Purple team: Cho Gath, Maokai, Nasus, Tryndamere, Akali

The game didn't start too well... I thought I would take solo top with Shen so I can build up my armor soon but Lee Sin insisted to take top lane. So I descided to be Ezrael's "support" in bot lane... Lee Sin did get first blood and kennen got a few kills himself... But... Cho Gath had TOTALY dominated our jungle and Nocturne was shut down. And I didn't farm at all so I was a useless tank running around... Lee Sin and Kennen made up for our mistakes but it wasn't enough... Cho already got too powerfull and he, along with their Tryndamere, cut our team to pieces.

End game stats show it all...

QD Moar!!

5 Queue Dodges in a row... Ok, one was from a player who didn't connect at all... Still, been trying to start a game for 30 minutes, no luck so far...

Bleh...

One more game before I went to bed... Should have Queue dodged it but, I didn't... So...

Teams:

Blue team: Nocturne (me), Soraka, Vladimir, Singed, Ashe
Purple team: Gangplank, Vayne, Orianna, Rammus, Irelia
(sorry for the lack of picks and bans screenshot...)

Like I said on my previous post, me and my gf's dad had some issues today and while in champ select, my gf called and wanted to talk about today... I knew this call would take a while and I should have queue dodged but we had a pretty descent team and I was hoping the enemy Orianna would not be so good (Orianna is one of the hardest champs to play out there and this IS low elo games).

The game started well... I did my usual trip around enemy wraiths and, with the help of Soraka's CV, got the blue and 2 of the 3 smaller wraiths... Some early counter jungling for Gangplank to trip on... Ashe got First blood on vayne on the bottom lane and the game seemed to go nicely. Vlad had an equal match with Orianna at mid, Singed gave a really hard time vs Irelia and Ashe at bottom lane farmed pretty well... Then EVERYTHING went wrong...

As I said, the whole time I was on the phone... Not even a pleasant convertation to begin with. Gankplank ganked bot lane and got both of them, then tried to gank mid and moved to top lane. I had placed a ward there, so singed saw Gangplank moving in but he felt confident enough to take on both of them. As me and Vlad moved towards top lane to help, so did Orianna... And after singed dropped, me and Vlad didn't last too long either. Around that time Ashe disconnected (came back a good 5 minutes later) and the enemy team got kills after kills. We surrendered the game a few minutes after the 20 min mark... (I hung up the phone a well 30 minutes after that...)

End game stats (quite embarassing):

Game #6

I really shouldn't have tried to play that game... Today was just not my day... -12 Elo points lost...

Sorry...

I'm sorry for the lack of games today, I really intended to play a few more as it IS Saturday... But having troubles with your girlfriends dad isn't always expected to happen... So, sorry... I'll post more games  after these issues are resolved...

~Cheers

Just an early Saturday

Just a quickie game before I get busy with the stuff I have to do today... Working on Saturdays (and Sundays) suuuuuuuuux... Oh well... Team picks and bans:

None...

Our team captain banned Udyr and one of the other teammembers didn't like the ban and left tha game (can't they inform the captain earlier?? He's team captain, not a mind reader)... Anyway, I joined the queue again... Let's see how it goes now...

In champ select at the moment and English is strong in this one... (sarcasm)... Team picks and bans:

At first I was worried... Xin Zhao, Nocturne and Lee Sin on the same team?? Too much AD for our own good. And this when the opponents had already picked a Fiddlesticks (probably for jungling), Kennen for mid lane and Alistar for a tanky support. But when they locked in their two last picks, I started to see a light! We still didn't have a tank and too much Attack Damage champions so I managed to convince our last teammate to pick Maokai over Annie (he said he'd go either one.)

The game went extremely well for our team. Fiddlesticks didn't jungle and Kennen didn't go mid (we didn't have a descent mid champion, since Maokai took solo top 1v2) so Xin had to take mid (I believe Lee Sin would fit that role better but, oh well...) Karthus was bad. He gave first blood pretty early and after that, it was snowballing. They DID try to retaliate by teaming up all 5 at mid, almost took down our mid tower, but when our Magic Resistance items started to pop out, there was nothing they could do to stop us. All 5 of them where Ability Power champions so, none of them could really damage any of us... They surrendered after almost 27 minutes with 5/0 votes...

Fourth game

I thought I could play another game before I go to bed. I didn't play enough Nocturne today, so I guess I could do one more... Team picks and bans:

The fail was big in this one... Not that it wasn't a nice game, it was a good game, with no flaming what-so-ever and also kindda funny. As usual, I started my jungle by stealing the enemy's blue wraith... Some nice gold and exp boost for me, less for the enemy jungler! ;) First blood didn't come until the 7th minute when Kennen did a stand off with Brand at mid and the later walked away with only a fraction of health... I dived in for the kill but instead of Unspeakable Horror, I clicked on Shroud of Darkness and missed an easy kill... I got the kill by tower diving but fiddle was there to finish me off... Fail #1!! :)

Fail #2 came around the 15th minute mark... I had warded the enemy golem buff and caught fiddle trying to take it. I noticed that he used his smite early (NEVER do that, new junglers out there! ;) ) so I was like "Ok, free buff! Let him get it under 600 hp and I'll smite it away..." I didn't... I smited the little minion beside the golem... :( :( :(

Oh well, it was a pretty easy game, so I kinda experimented by trying to get a Trinity force for the first time. Didn't have the time to complete it though, because the opponents surrendered at the 24th minute. Still, that Phage does seem usefull though I was wondering if I should get Zeal first or Sheen... I went for Zeal for the movement speed...

End game stats:

Surprise, surprise!! I finaly got a replay to post!! :D Enjoy my fails! (Don't miss the second one, it's so funny!)

Games #2 and #3

I forgot to run LOLReplay on my desktop PC before I stared my second game so no replay on that one... Teams:
Blue team: Kassadin (me), Lee Sin, Rumble, Alistar, Udyr
Purple team: Tryndamere, Nocturne, Kennen, Blitzcrank, Malphite

One thing about this game... Fed Tryndamere... Nothing more, nothing less...

No screenshot for endgame stats... Was to frustrated to get one...

-13 Elo points lost...

I'm just about to begin my third game... Team picks and bans:

To tell the truth, that Rumble, Morde, Olaf combo intimidated me, further more when I saw Morde as my lane opponent in mid... I just couldn't farm anything. Thankfully, our Udyr stepped up and had Akali get first blood. Then a few more quick ganks and the score was already 3-0 at the 8th minute of the game. I advanced rather slow, prefered to get Tear of the Godess first before boots so I can keep my mana up and lane a bit longer. I played safe, helped with a couple of ganks and where on a comfortable 0/1/2 at around 15 minutes. Then the game turned a bit south, the opponents getting a few kills on Ashe, Akali and Sona after grouping up in bottom lane. But a bit later, when Rumble tried to flank us, we managed to fight back and, even if we lost Sona in the process, we managed to get 3 kills and get back ahead. I managed to finish my Archangel staff and even with my simple boots, Riftwalk kept me in the action. Getting a few kills myself, Udyr also doing his thing and Akali making up for her weak start, the opponents surrendered after 27 minutes... The end game stats looked like this:

For some weird reason, LOLReplay didn't record this game either, even if I got a message saying that the replay was saved... :/ What can I say?? If this goes on, I may give up on the idea to share replays alltogether...

Ok, I think I got this now... I managed to record a co-op vs AI game I just did with Akali... Here's the replay:

Co-op vs AI - Akali

(The replay was recorded with LOLReplay v.0.6.9.14 -latest, at the time, version- and I will always keep it updated so, if you have any problems running the replays, be sure you have downloaded the latest version of LOLReplay from http://www.leaguereplays.com )

Game #1

Things started off nicely... After an instalock amumu jungle, someone from the opponent team left champion select and here we go again, from scratch...

Of course, the usual "noob" quotes that appear in EVERY pregame chat, don't miss out on this one. Let's see how this game goes...

Teams setup:

Blue team: Nocturne (me), Taric, Annie, Jax and Corki

Purple team: Akali, Warwick, Trundle, Ashe and Wukong

My jungle started nicely by stealling their blue Wraith while the purple team hugged their golem buff... Taric's CV made sure I didn't fall into any unpleasant traps... Jax got First Blood on Akali on the top lane. Noticing that Ashe and Warwick didn't have any escape methods, I focused them for ganks. Warwick managed to farm a bit but Ashe was completely shut down... Ended the game with 3/16/12... Not the best of Ashe players out there...

After that, it was a one way show... After the initial flaming, the team chat got a more... "playful" turn, making fun of things here and there... This was the end game stat screen:

For some reason, LOLReplay didn't record the game... I'll be sure to fix that before I play and post another game on the blog... Anyway, I started this on the right foot!! :D Hopefully, many many more wins are bound to come! :)
